Dr. Tad DeWald, MD is a board-certified specialist in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). He is known as a leader in non-surgical orthopedic care with over 14 years of experience in sports medicine, orthobiologics, MSK ultrasound, and regenerative medicine procedures. He specializes in advanced treatments, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), autologous exosomes, A2M, bone marrow, and micronized lipoaspiration stem cells.

Dr. DeWald earned his medical degree from St. George’s University. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Wayne State University, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a prestigious Sports Medicine fellowship at the world-renowned Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Following his fellowship, Dr. DeWald was recruited to join Tucson Orthopaedic Institute, where he spent over six years transforming an almost exclusively surgical practice into an international destination for regenerative medicine.
